Our parent company RitikaaWood, is a timber engineering company with over three decades of experience in crafting high-performance wood solutions for architecture and design. From bespoke residences to large-scale projects, we collaborate with architects and designers to deliver applications that demand both precision and material understanding.
At RitikaaWood, we donât see timber as a material alone. We see it as a living systemâone that brings warmth, depth, and permanence to architecture. Our work is built on a simple idea: When used correctly, wood does not imitate luxuryâit defines it. Unlike conventional substrates, MicroCLT maintains dimensional accuracy over time, ensuring that panels remain flat, aligned, and visually consistent even in environments subject to temperature and humidity variation.Â

Every project begins with understanding how timber behaves: how it expands, how it ages, how it responds to climate. This allows us to engineer solutions that are not just visually refined, but technically reliable over time.

Material Evolution. Over the years, this approach led us to work extensively with advanced timber technologies such as AccoyaÂŽâa modified wood known for its exceptional stability, durability, and performance in demanding exterior conditions.
It allowed us to push the boundaries of what timber could achieve in architecture, particularly in climates like India where material behaviour is critical. But while materials like Accoya solved performance challenges for exteriors, the question for interiors remained unanswered.
The Gap We Saw
Over the years, we observed a recurring challenge in interior architecture. Solid wood offered unmatched character, but came with limitations in stability. Engineered boards, while reliable, often lost the essence of real timber. The industry had accepted this compromise.â¨We chose not to.
Innovation as Outcome
This thinking led us to MicroCLTâan engineered solid timber panel that brings together the authenticity of wood with the precision required for modern interiors. Recognising its potential, we adapted and applied it to the Indian contextâwhere climate, scale, and execution demand a deeper understanding of material behaviour.
It is not just a product we offer, but a material we have carefully studied, refined in application, and integrated into our system of working. Because for us, innovation is not always about inventing something newâ it is about knowing what to use, and how to use it better.
